for every cookie, there is a vegetable

Cookies made probably at about 3 am after a night of running from a busted party and dancing on tables at a bachelorette party in downtown Boise.
The Toms picture is a staged-looking happenstance. I'm practically tripping in loose shoe stickers at work and sometimes bring them home.

Oatmeal, reeses chips, peanut butter, coconut...and usual cookie ingredients.

Big ole' shoes.

Mushrooms, onions and zucchini cooked down in olive oil and wine. I can't get enough of caramelized veggies with wine. Nice simple students' dinner. Served with nutritional yeast-based vegan cheese sauce. Not pictured due to ugliness.

Ice cream!

Actually, just frozen banana. But oddly delicious and custard-like.

Kitchen bunnies.

Mexican bean soup. So much more delicious than this looks. Crock potted some red bell peppers, green bell pepper, yellow onion, veg stock, pinto beans, veg refried beans, diced tomatoes with jalapenos, chile powder, cayenne, fresh garlic, cumin...the appt smelled wonderful. Ate with some avocado, lime wedge, cilantro and green onions. Starchy, filling, smooth, spicy, vegan, healthy....and cheap. Quite cheap.

It's Okay to Be Gay.
